This place has been a great discovery… The food is absolutely top-notch for vegan fare. I have been getting lunch from here almost daily since I discovered it. It is definitely a mom and Pop place… The availability of the menu items depends on what they were able to get fresh that day… So I have been going in with an open mind that my first choice or two might not be available, but it has led me to try some really good options… Everything I’ve had from there has been very flavorful and healthy… I have been feeling fantastic since substituting this place for my usual lunch routine. What they do with jackfruit, lions mane, and other vegan staples is impressive.

Moving from Seattle to VA was difficult regarding the food scene. I am THRILLED that I found this place. I tried the chicken and waffles, BLT and BBQ sandwich. They were amazing! And all things I missed when I quit eating meat 8 years ago. The sandwiches also came with salads. The lettuce and tomato and salads were fresh and crunchy. The salad dressing and BBQ sauce tasted homemade in the best way possible. The bread was soft but held everything together. 1000% recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time here and I did both dine-in and took food to go. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience with some strong highs and a few real misses. 🍽️ What I Ordered • Mango Ginger Sea Moss Salad ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ • Rasta Pasta ⭐⭐⭐ • Vegan “Chicken” & Waffles ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⸻ 🥗 Food Breakdown Salad (5/5) This was easily the best thing I had. Super fresh, flavorful, and actually felt nourishing. The fruit and dressing combination was perfect. No complaints at all. Rasta Pasta (3/5) It wasn’t bad, but it felt like it was missing something. The portion was smaller than expected and didn’t feel like a full meal. Adding something like garlic bread or broccoli would really elevate it. Flavor-wise, it just needed more depth. Chicken & Waffles • Chicken: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and one of the best vegan “chicken” textures I’ve had. • Waffle: ❌ — I HATED it. I really didn’t like it. It was savory (tasted like it had diced onions), had a chalky texture, and just didn’t work. Definitely not something I’d order again or reheat later. Didn’t know you could mess up a waffle like that. ⸻ 🧠 How It Felt This leans more toward vegan comfort food than light/alkaline meals. I also couldn’t

This place is fantastic—amazing food and exceptional service! You can really tell the food is made with love; everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. We tried the waffle sandwich, vegan Philly, and the grilled vegan wrap—each one was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Our server, who I’m guessing also cooked the food, was so sweet and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Finally, I found a restaurant with healthy choices, a friendly environment, and, most importantly, the food was tasty! I ordered the vegan cheesesteak egg rolls, Royal Flush fresh juice, fries and a side salad. The salad dressing was delicious, as well as the egg rolls. I ordered the mushroom soup, and vegan gumbo to go so my family can try it, and they loved it. Initially, the service at the bar was slow, but they took good care of me. I am calling tomorrow to order a gallon of Royal Flush juice for the week. Thank you for bringing healthy alkaline choices to our community!
